College Board recognizes increase in gender representation in Advanced Placement Computer Science
Eisenhower students at computerEisenhower High School was honored as among a select group of schools that have improved gender representation in AP Computer science programs.

Eisenhower earned the 2018 “AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award” from the College Board, which administers the program.

The College Board also noted that Davis Junior High School and Jeannette Junior High School  had more females enrolled in AP Computer Science through the Utica Center for Mathemattics, Science and Technology.

Out of more than 18,000 secondary schools worldwide that offer AP courses, only 685 schools received the diversity award.
