As a child, Eisenhower 2021 graduate Tommy Dilger would hear stories about his great grandfather – China Sea Phil.

At different times, his great grandfather was a poet, a sailor, a military man, a recluse.

It was a story he knew he had to tell , and once put on video, he not only captured a frank and unique story, but also earned the future director a top award at a reginal student festival and a $500 scholarship to further pursue his career in film.

Dilger is attending Savanah College of Art and Design in Georgia this fall to pursue a degree in filmmaking and media arts. The YouTube account for video production company - TPD Productions - is located at this link.
