History

Eisenhower High School was named after Dwight D. Eisenhower, the 34th President of the United States. He also was Supreme Commander of the Allied Armies in Europe during World War II, the first military commander of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the President of University.
Eisenhower opened in the early 1970s. President Richard Nixon - Eisenhower's Vice President when he was in office - led the school dedication.
